Fringe Cycle Sports presented by fahrstil & EUROBIKE
For the 12th time, EUROBIKE and cycling culture magazine fahrstil invited to the Trendlounge! On Friday, July 5, 2024, the exhibition opened its doors for one evening in the Galleria at Messe Frankfurt (between Halls 8 and 9) under the exciting theme of “Ra(n)dsportarten” (fringe cycle sports).
When cycling is mentioned, many people first think of racing bikes. Even popular disciplines from the mountain bike sector lead a shadowy existence in public perception. Yet the variety of sports that revolve around cycling is immense! The Trendlounge 2024 offered a fascinating insight into the niches of cycling: with impressive sporting achievements, vibrant subcultures, passionate volunteer work and extraordinary machines. Medal-winning sports bikes were also presented - some even accompanied by their athletes. Of course, there was also a demonstration or two.
The EUROBIKE Trend Lounge served as a “walk-in edition” of the fahrstil magazine and complemented the printed themed issues with a unique exhibition. Around 20 exhibits were brought together under one thematic roof, their stories told and similarities and differences highlighted. A guided tour through the collection, jazzy lounge music and refreshing drinks made the scene evening at the world's leading trade fair a special experience.
