Sustainability is a central component of the EUROBIKE trade fair philosophy. We design the leading trade fair for bicycles and mobility in such a way that ecological, economic, and social aspects are taken into account in all areas – from the travel and mobility concept to program highlights to trade fair operations and construction.
Green mobility – even before the trade fair
Thanks to its location in the heart of Frankfurt, EUROBIKE is easily accessible by public transport and bicycle. Together with partners such as Deutsche Bahn, DB Connect, RMV, the City of Frankfurt, and fast2work, an attractive travel and mobility offer has been developed – including special DB tickets and secure bicycle parking spaces.
Sustainable travel, program, and venue
Sustainability is also a central theme of the accompanying technical program. Speakers travel by train whenever possible to minimize their carbon footprint. If this is not possible, we make every effort to offset the resulting emissions. Sustainability is one of the evaluation criteria for the EUROBIKE Award 2026.
Sustainable trade fair operations – measurable and feasible
An event of this size poses both ecological and logistical challenges. This makes it all the more important for us to provide exhibitors with practical Guidelines that offer concrete ideas for sustainable trade fair construction, resource-efficient implementation, waste avoidance, and efficient disposal.
On site, waste consultants provide support in optimizing recycling and waste separation, and the air conditioning in the halls is continuously monitored – unavoidable emissions are fully offset.
