Graveltalk: Ride the Rough – Exploring New Horizons in Gravel Biking
Gravel bikes have truly carved their niche in the cycling realm, blending the rugged versatility of mountain bikes with the sleek speed of road bikes.
The growing popularity of gravel bikes was highlighted at EUROBIKE 2024, bringing numerous new events, race formats, routes, and groups into focus. In our Graveltalk, we discussed trends, training, tours, and more with our guests. This year’s topics included: “Forest Law – Responsible Gravel Riding,” “Challenges in Scouting and Organizing Gravel Events,” and a chat with Jacquie Phelan about the “good old dropbar times.”
The GRAVEL TALK took place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cycle Café / Pink Sofa, Hall 11.1, and on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Handmade Stage, Hall 12.1.
