Pinion Smart.Shift combines the reliable and virtually maintenance-free gear shifting technology of Pinion with the advantages of electric shifting. Shifting takes 0.2 seconds at the touch of a button - fast, ergonomic and intuitive. The system shifts gears while riding, when stationary and under load.
The system functions are also smart: The automatically engaged starting gear can be selected individually with the “Start.Select” function. The optional “Pre.Select” function offers automatic shifting while you are not pedaling and adapts the gear perfectly to changing speeds based on the preselected cadence.
