Electromagnetic shock dyno EMA

EMA by LABA7 comes feature-rich and brings jaw-dropping specs. We developed our electromagnetic shock dyno to deliver remarkably accurate results at an affordable price.

To ensure an unparalleled damper testing experience, we've meticulously designed next-generation components in-house from the ground up. From the data logger to the control unit and power supply unit, each element of the EMA system guarantees top-tier performance, efficiency, and reliability.

The data logger incorporated into the EMA system stands as a testament to our engineering prowess. Developed in-house, it's engineered to detect even the subtlest force changes in damper performance. With an impressive position resolution and sampling rate of 50 nanometers at 20 kHz digitally, coupled with a load cell resolution and sampling rate of 20 bits at 20 kHz, it ensures precision at every level.

By developing the control unit in-house, we've gained an intimate understanding of its intricate performance nuances. This expertise allows us to finely tune electromagnetic actuators for precise damper testing applications.

Revolutionizing our approach to power needs, the smart power supply unit of the LABA7 EMA sets new standards. While larger EMA versions demand a 380 V 16-32 A connection, the smallest model operates seamlessly from a standard 220 V outlet. Utilizing a high-voltage power supply to the actuators, facilitated by supercapacitor packs, eliminates the dependency on high-voltage/amperage mains input. This breakthrough not only enhances efficiency but also democratizes access to electrodynamic linear actuators, empowering suspension workshops like never before.
