INERTIA SERIES

INERTIA SERIES
Description
INERTIA – Sub Brand of UPVINE Wheelsets
🔹 Two Rim Heights Available: 40mm & 52mm
The INERTIA series wheelsets come in two rim depths: 40mm and 52mm.
40mm rim weight: 320g each
52mm rim weight: 365g each
Both are built onto a 290g, 24-hole hubset
This setup achieves exceptional lightweight performance:
40mm wheelset weight: 1150g
52mm wheelset weight: 1230g
🔹 Custom Spokes & Titanium Alloy Nipples
Spokes: Custom-designed, each weighing only 3.7g
Nipples: Titanium alloy, 0.54g each
The titanium alloy nipples offer superior corrosion resistance, eliminating 100% of failure risks caused by sweat and environmental corrosion.
🔹 Hub Strength & Innovative Freehub Mechanism
The hub features a reinforced spoke hole structure with a breaking strength of 4900N, ensuring exceptional durability.
An innovative ratchet ring system enhances engagement efficiency.
🔹 Advanced Carbon Fiber Construction
The rims are crafted from Toray T700 + T800 carbon fiber with an optimized layup design for strength and weight savings.
Each rim undergoes a 160psi tire pressure test, meeting the highest industry standards.
🔹 Asymmetric Rim & Optimized Hub Geometry
The INERTIA series employs an asymmetric, offset rim design paired with optimized hub geometry:
Front Wheel:
Disc-side spoke tension: 130Kgf
Non-drive spoke tension: 100Kgf
Tension ratio: 1.3:1
Rear Wheel:
Disc-side spoke tension: 79Kgf
Drive-side spoke tension: 130Kgf
Tension ratio: 1:1.65 (pre-production test)
This minimal spoke tension differential ensures excellent drivetrain stiffness and lateral rigidity.
🔹 Impact Resistance & UCI Standards
Impact resistance exceeds 100 Joules, 2.5 times the UCI standard.
Nipples are pre-treated with water-based Teflon resin to prevent loosening.
🚴♂️ Redefining the Benchmark for Carbon Fiber Wheelsets
INERTIA Series sets a new standard in high-performance carbon fiber wheelsets. Designed for riders who demand top-tier performance and lightweight construction, these wheels deliver exceptional stiffness, responsiveness, and durability, making them the ultimate choice for competitive road cyclists.
