eChecker's "Drive Unit" motor test bench is the compact performance test bench for e-bike mid-engines of all brands. Classic areas of application for the "Drive Unit" are end-of-line quality testing and endurance tests.

Is the component selection correct, does the motor work properly, e.g. during stop-and-go in virtual city traffic, does it stop reliably at 25 km/h or 45 km/h? You determine the test parameters yourself. However, the use of the "Drive Unit" for endurance tests is just as popular. Many malfunctions only become apparent after a certain running time. Malfunctions can therefore be better investigated and any individual parts that are not sufficiently resilient can be more easily identified and replaced if necessary.

eChecker and eMP were developed in close cooperation with e-bike manufacturers, testing institutes and magazines. The result is a universal dynamometer for e-bikes / pedelecs of all makes and for every drive. It doesn't matter whether it's an e-bike with a mid-motor or hub motor (front motor on request) - after more than 500,000 e-bikes have now been tested, our test stands have been optimized so that every e-bike can be quickly clamped and connected to the technology with little effort. Even cargo e-bikes with excess length are no problem for the flexible eChecker. The hardware of the eChecker consists of a basic configuration that can be expanded to meet your requirements.

eChecker specializes in end-of-line testing: To enable use in assembly line operation, not only are the set-up times on the eChecker for the e-bikes extremely short, but handling is also designed to be as convenient as possible. For example, the clamping has been optimized with a three-point adjustment so that all movement sequences can be carried out quickly and easily. This means that the e-bike can be fixed for the eChecker test within five seconds without removing the crank.

Virtual Bike

eChecker's "Virtual Bike" motor test bench is particularly suitable for research and development. This is because it tests everything that the eChecker for e-bikes also tests, only without the frame and wheels of the e-bike. The advantage: the "Virtual Bike" is relatively small, compact and easy to handle. This makes work not only easier, but also faster. For example, you can carry out comparative tests with various (train-supplied) components in a small space and thus filter out the best interaction between hardware and software. Disturbing influences such as tire profile, tire pressure and rider weight are eliminated with the "Virtual Bike". In general, the "Virtual Bike" allows you to test all e-bike-relevant properties of the electrics and electronics, for example by trying out different shifting systems such as hub gears versus derailleur gears against each other.

The "Virtual Bike" is therefore also ideal for reverse engineering.

Summary:
"Virtual Bike" - the compact, smaller brother of the eChecker, tests all the electrics and electronics of the e-bike just like the eChecker, but without the bike frame. It is used in research and development (R&D) and reverse engineering.
