With Capri-Sun, we’re breathing new life into a nostalgic collaboration that dates back to the early 1980s. Cycling enthusiasts will remember the Capri-Sonne team that rode Eddy Merckx bikes in 1982. Now we’re teaming up again, this time for a special charity initiative: the Capri-Sun Pévèle. The proceeds from this campaign will go to the international NGO War Child, which supports children affected by war.

The Capri-Sun x Eddy Merckx Pévèle C is a versatile all-road bike, built to perform on both tarmac and gravel. It features advanced technology, a carbon frame, Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting, and carbon wheels. Its geometry allows riders to switch terrains with ease. With clearance for tires up to 38 mm, the bike is as flexible as it is stylish. It is also available in the online bike configurator on the Eddy Merckx website so cyclists can tailor it to their preferences.

One notable feature of this bike is the return of the classic Eddy Merckx Bikes wordmark on the downtube. This is the original wordmark that was used on the first Eddy Merckx Bikes that left the factory in 1980. The team bikes of the Capri Sonne team had the same logo, hence the return.

Bringing Nukeproof back to the market is a true passion project for us at Belgian Cycling Factory.
