The time of the male-dominated bicycle industry is over - really?
In any case, it is the declared goal of EUROBIKE to get as many people as possible enthusiastic about bicycles, and this will only succeed if the bicycle industry and thus EUROBIKE become more diverse. EUROBIKE has achieved a first goal this year: there is no all-male panel in any of its conferences. At the premiere of the EUROBIKE CONVENTION, even more women than men will be speaking.
And this change is being driven by women. This can be seen in the following events, which all take place on Fridays and are organized by women for women (and which, by the way, only represent a small selection): they are just as diverse as the needs of the women.
At the Women in Cycling network breakfast, the focus is on recruiting for more diversity in the bike sector, in the Jobrad panel five women from the lobby, politics and industry discuss which steps are necessary to implement the "mobility budget" for employees. Component manufacturer SRAM is looking forward to seeing all industry colleagues at the Women's Happy Hour in the late afternoon. In the early evening, Fahrrad Böttgen and blogger Triathlove invite you to one of their regular women's workshops, where important tips for bike care and repairs are given. In addition, the Guilty76 GRL CRW invites you to road bike and gravel tours around Frankfurt throughout the week.
